Bob Hunter Boyd was one of best things to happen to the FSYC. Bob's love toward the bar created life long customers and ultimately friends. He was always quick with a joke, a pun, and a shot. Bob created a relentless optizum for the bar, that makes the early mornings a treat. I feel like you don't need a pick-me-up if Bob is serving you. I have had literally conversation so strong with him, that I have missed work to finish them. Best hidden bar in Knoxville, good drink and good music.
This place is my home. It's where I go when I'm sad, stressed, lonely, loved, or just don't want to actually go home. My family is here. Bartenders, customers, friends. My favorite bar/home away from home.
Best wings, coldest beverages and best staff ever.
I've been going to the Yacht Club on and off since it first opened and it just keeps getting better. The game selection was a little slim for a minute but with the Multicade now it's fine. I wish they could fix the screen on Tapper and bring back TRON but you can't argue with the beer prices, the free old console games, or the very friendly laid back regulars. This place is def in my top bars to go to. Super positive people and vibes. Really friendly people to a point where you barely have to make any efforts, and next thing you know you're talking up a storm with a group of new pals. Their events, DJ's, bands that go on are always top notch and a super good time. Not to mention, Yacht Club is a BARCADE!
