absurd today 02/01/2020 in the morning, to have only two policemen to attend international flights at customs! absurd queue! it takes 4.30 to be attended to !! Children crying hungry, tired! elderly people having to go through this too! Total lack of respect for human beings What will the authorities do ?? is this USA ??? SHAME!!! Vera
This place is a gallon of crap in a quart jug. Forget finding a place to sit unless you stand in line for an hour at Margaritaville.

Ft Lauderdale is transforming from a friendly smaller airport to a real alternative to Miami. Unfortunately, the growing pains are massive. The construction pains are impossible to avoid, and nowhere more prevalent than with the horrendous rental car facility/shuttle. Expect to wait a lot and be particularly frustrated.
Landed 10 min early at 5:10 pm. Sat on tarmac 40 min before gate available. Off plane at 6 pm and waited at carousel 6 for luggage. At 6:15 it started to arrive. At 6:40 they changed to carousel to #3. At 7 our luggage arrived. Intolerable situation.
Awful airport!! Customs only had 6 agents working this morning and there were over 2,000 passengers coming into the country and everyone that had connecting flights missed their flights!! Just about every single employee was soooo rude as if we were bothering them!!! Where’s the customer service? Just plain awful!
