Fort Lauderdale should NOT be labeled an international airport!!!! Customs is a DISASTER!!!! You will not make any connections under 4 hours (as it will take you three hours of standing around in back hallways to get through customs, don’t think global entry saves you much time either). The CBP staff does not communicate and shows little concern for travelers- pick any other airport in the world to travel through!!!!

If you're traveling to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale International Airport is a great choice to arrive to, or depart from South Florida. It is not normally too busy or congested and flight delays are very minimal due to the good weather in South Florida.
Airport is in need of a big renovation. Smell like mold and some areas were dirty.
