I worked at FLL for 7 years. it has improved dramatically since I left in 2014
This airport sucks beyond belief... it was closed this morning due to rain and we sat in our cars outside blocking all traffic for about 4 hours, when they finally let us in to the airport, Frontier airline doesn’t have attendants for the next three hours, when we finally board our flight the gate breaks and we can’t push to take off been here since 4:30 AM and still sitting in a plane which has not moved at 10:53 AM.... THIS AIRPORT SUCKS !

Have been stuck in this plane in Fort Lauderdale for the past 4 hours no movement since 9 pm, should have landed in Orlando 6 hours ago. There's been ZERO COMMUNICATION until just now informing all the passengers we will all be taking busses back to Orlando. A 4 hour bus ride after flying from Dublin. Spent $1300 for this absolute joke of an airline, Air lingus you really out did yourself this time. Pathetic. (still on the plane by the way someone please send help flight 121)
Rude employees. Old airport, needs a remodel. Smells like pee in places. Coffee place wasn't even open for an hour after we got here. Security didn't open until 415am even though we are supposed to be here 2 hours earlier than our flight. No food options. Just not a great airport.
Very easy to get around BUT THE ANNOUNCEMENTS NEVER STOP! SO LOUD!SO MANY! Shut up already!!!
