Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce has helped our business grow, the members of Red Carpet committee AND staff are dedicated to our community and its progress. Great people, welcoming environment, plenty of networking opportunities and ways to give back to our community! One of the first things I recommend business owners and managers when I meet them is to join the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce if they haven't yet.
The SHAMEFUL misinformation campaign by the Chamber to fight (the now passed) 2B initiative to establish a community broadband network is sad. I'm glad Mayor Troxell called you out specifically. I would think the one organization in town that would want to attract new business to the town would be for this - considering the effects of other community broadband networks on local commerce. Shameful conduct from the Chamber regarding their backing of the no on 2B.
Disappointed in your fight against 2B. 2B would greatly help the community. Please change your stance on this ballot issue. Municipal fiber is an essential need in Fort Collins where Comcast limits upload speeds to 10mbps. The Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce is sending out manipulative false flyers about ballot measure 2B.
