About this business

Introducing the diners to the ancient Italian recipes in Pleasanton is the energetic chef Nicole Skillings, who belongs to the restaurant Forno Vecchio. Housed within a restored structure, the restaurant exudes an old world charm. Once you settle down, you can order for the homemade ricotta gnocchi with the Milanese specialty Ossobucco. I can not speak highly enough about your lovely restaurant. We were just in this evening with a party of 15 for my husband's birthday and you were all so accommodating. I am gluten free and they were great in helping me with options. Had the fried polenta and Brussels sprouts. Rissoto with veggies was creamy and delicious. My mom had zucchini parmesan and said it was the best dinner she had on our visit. Plus the owner, staff and even other regulars to the restaurant were personable.

I have eaten here many times. I always sit at the counter. order anything - you can't get a bad meal here. I think it's the best food in ptown! risotto is always a winner. halibut to die for. numerous delicious appetizers and small plates. GREAT coffee and the desserts are sublime. plus there's Nana!
