Had dinner there Wednesday, Dec. 7th, and was disappointed. They were out of Rouladen, so we ordered Sauerbraten. It wasn't fresh. There was an iridescent coloration on the meat and it tasted old. The spaetzle was dry. The red cabbage was the best part of the meal. Then we bough some items to take home. Nothing was fresh. I bought jelly donuts, walnut ring, and potato pancakes. There were three of us so we spent over a hundred dollars, but nothing was that good. I've been there before and it was always great. What happened?
Quality and Customer Service are bar-none!!! Absolute quality, friendly, and courteous staff. Everything can be cut to your liking, you don't have to settle for what the other stores offer. We travel 45 minutes one way to purchase from this store, it is well worth the time and travel to do so. They make their own sausages, hams, bacon, and yes; even their own high quality hot dogs and luncheon meats.
Had lunch with my son, was delicious! Took home some turnovers for later, they were delicious as well.
I love this place. Everything I have purchased is incredible. The Beef Pot Pie is out of this world. Chicken cutlets are great. It doesn't pay to cook, so many great choices.
Absolutely amazing foods. We have been going there for well over 25 years. It's our annual stop on the way home from vacation down at the Jersey Shote.
It's hard to write in so many words how impressive this place is, clean, friendly, and the food is authentic. Pork roll and cheese and home fries today for breakfast and it was delish! I live local and go there often. Can't go wrong! Enjoy!
I love love love everything about this place! The food is fantastic! The staff is so helpful and friendly! The selection is endless!
