My first experience with having to put a loved one in a nursing home.... Putting my mom into a home other than my own was very difficult . She became too ill for any of her children to manage so after careful consideration we decided on Forest Manor. We are extremely pleased with the care she receives and the staff is wonderful. VERY HAPPY MY DAD WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE CARE AND REHAB HE RECEIVED AT FOREST MANOR. WE WILL DEF. LOOK THEM UP IN THE FUTURE IF NEEDED. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE ACTIVITIES DEPT IS WONDERFUL!
So glad i toured So like most people in search of a nursing home in the time of sadness I was looking on line for area nursing homes. Forest Manor was one I looked at and didn't seem to list that great with the star ratings. Having some knowledge with how that works (old stuff stays up for a long time) I decided to put it on the list of places to visit. When mom is happy, we are all happy! My mom has been at forest manor for 3 months and she is so happy. We are finally feeling relaxed and a little less guilty about her being in a nursing home because i swear she acts like she is the mayor in there. When mom is happy, we all are happy! Thank you to the wonderful team there who comforted us during this rough journey and made us feel at ease. We love coming to visit because there are always great things going on and the staff are becoming like family!
IM GLAD I TOURED MY FATHER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND I WAS REFERRED TO FOREST MANOR FOR SAR ALONG WITH A FEW OTHER PLACES. I DECIDED TO LOOK INTO FOREST MANOR BECAUSE IT WAS THE CLOSEST TO MY HOME. Glad Forest Manor was there for us Wasn't all that excited about having mom being placed in a nursing home. We all know the guilt but mom needed professional care that we couldn't offer her. Like other families i was hesitant to go because of previous bad reviews, but i agree, maybe that's how it used to be but it isn't anymore! We're happy because mom is happy!
Rehab facility I had to place my aunt at a rehab facility after a heart attack. Living in the area, I knew Forest Manor was a great place. Reading some reviews made me skeptical, but she had a great stay with positive outcomes and was discharged home at the end of her rehab stayliving at , where she remains. I owe this all to Forest Manor! I liked it so much I even volunteer there now! The rooms are nice with a TV, "no pay" phone service and very friendly staff!!
My mother loved this facility My mother fell and broke her hip. Her stay at Forest Manor was great, physical therapy, the nursing staff and everyone involved with her care were fabulous, I cant say enough about her care. I read the reviews from 2009 and its was nothing like the comments, I would recomend this building to anybody.
