I found that it was difficult to communicate with my dermatologist except by phone messages through assistants or a patient portal through assistants. I was given sketchy basic information on a printout as to how to treat the biopsy wound that weren't helpful to my condition. Lastly, the office sent my medication to the pharmacy, asking for 45 grams, when it was not yet determined if the medication for my condition would be helpful or not. The co-pay was $45 for 45 grams when a smaller tube could have been utilized.
They told my son not to clean his face with a washcloth. When I asked why months later they said that washcloths hold bacteria. This was bad advice in my opinion as bacteria growth can be prevented but no alternative was given to my son to exfoliate. SMH

Yearly checkup. I did not have to wait very long in the waiting room to see the Dr. This is usually not the case with other Dr. offices. A nice change.
My son is being treated for Acne and has shown good progression towards recovery. Katelyn was our M.A. and she was so personable, helpful, and knowledgeable! My son is usually shy about his face but she made it easy for him to talk to about his acne.
