Met with Dan who was pleasant and easy going - Information/estimate provided was clear and very fair - We were apprehensive doing this project and were pleasantly surprised to find that this project was affordable. Joyce (Dan's wife) followed up to monitor progress which gave us peace of mind. The crew that conducted the job were professional and functioned like a well-oiled machine. The cost was reasonable. The overall look of the floors is so wonderful. A few little smudges at the baseboard, but very pleased overall. They showed up when they said they would. They finished the work sooner than they said they would. The guys were nice to work with.
We hired Footprints to refinish our hardwood floors. It started out fine but then the service was awful after that. We had just had all of our floor boards painted and after Footpritns came in they were completely ruined and had to be re-done. The finish was all over them, including the kitchen island, and they were scratched up. We spoke to the company about this and they were extremely unhelpful. Tile install in shower was well done, installers were polite, professional, knowledgeable and completely cleaned up upon completion.
1st crew sanded floor on 1st day. 95% dust free? Don't believe it. On 2nd day crew completed sanding and began to stain. They were not familiar with stain product and stopped. They would need to wait 24 hours to re-sand and stain with different product. Day 3 crew could not make it due to personal problems. 2nd crew was sent and did not like the first crews prep work so they filled the floor. This company estimate came in quite a bit less than the other top runner and I was a little nervous that it may be lower quality work for less money, but I was wrong! Jason and the Footprints team did an amazing job! I had some wood refinished and some newly installed. I am very happy with my floors. They were quick, trustworthy and professional. Highly recommended!!
