We took my super senior horses here to get their teeth floated because they needed more than a regular vet could offer. My experience with super seniors is that once you start messing with their teeth on a "salvage" scale, their quality of life rapidly goes downhill. For me, super seniors getting a lot of teeth done has led to decline, so they needed as much specialized care possible. I was not disappointed. I have had both of my dogs to see the vet here. Both of my pets have been treated with the utmost care, and lots of puppy love. We feel like a real family with Foothills Veterinary Hospital. They even did a great job with my little shitzu who is a real grouch muffin, Sierra Sky. They have been so loving and understanding with my Serenity Dawn, she has dementia. I would highly recommend the staff and Dr. Vetter.
Yesterday we had an emergency at our barn and we couldn’t get a vet out to us and we were very fortunate to be down the street from them. We rushed in with the horse and people were ready to jump to work. The mare declined extremely fast but they gave her pain meds while the owner was on her way. They were very kind, friendly and gentle. I’ve never worked with this hospital before but I can gladly say I’d go to them in an emergency or for anything. Dr. Bohard and the staff did an amazing job researching and executing a very risky double wing amputation on my pet duck. Yes, I did say ‘duck’. This was a first for them, and they were very upfront that my Arnold might not make it out of surgery. Anesthesia is very risky on birds and surgery is usually handled by avian specialists. We LOVE Foothills! They take such amazing care of my fur babies and I always leave feeling beyond happy with the service. You can tell the Doctors and staff care and really love animals and treat them like their own. My favorite part is the follow up phone call the next day to make sure my babies are good to go. Best Vet in the area! ���
They were totally up front, and explained everything well. They took great care of my cat, and have been amazing in everything they've done. I will be taking my cats there for a long long time.
