Started in 1997 by Olympic volleyball legend, Mike Dodd, and entrepreneur Dan Boehle, the restaurant was recently purchased by a group of local residents in an effort to keep their favorite Manhattan Beach landmark in place. Fonz's a neighborhood staple. Fonz's is consistently good. All the personnel are friendly and they appreciate repeat business and go out of their way to let you know. The chicken is great for people who prefer non-red meat items, steaks are always a sure thing. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Great choice when dining in Manhattan Beach.
great fish I was taken to dinner here the night before a huge, 48-hour exam. I have to credit the fish for my passing grade! Service was great and the atmosphere was comfy, upper class.
Restaurant A very cozy atmosphere with a solid menu. I had a business dinner there and was apprehensive because of the usual parking issues in downtown MB. It was worth the effort.
