My first time at Fong's and I wasn't disappointed. Great pizza, great atmosphere, and great service. Next time I'm in Des Moines I will be back :)
Fong's is one of those "must go" places in Des Moines, Iowa. The service is excellent. The staff is fun to talk to. Just an overall great place to take people any time. I've been all over the place and it's in my top three pizza places of all time.
Came up for a cubs game and stopped for lunch. Great atmosphere, great service and the crab Rangoon pizza was killer. Glad I crossed this off my list of places to stop. Won't be my last, you guys rock!'nn
Best pizza I have ever had! Highly recommend the crab Rangoon and General Tso Pizza! Sat at the bar because the place was packed. Sign of a good place!
Loved the atmosphere, server and pizza. Had a special barbecue cheeseburger pizza that needs to be on the standard menu every day. It was loaded with the most amazing combination of ingredients. Also had the Fongolian Beef, a unique and splendid treat. Glad we made the trip from Omaha to experience Fong's.
Amazingly quirky joint. Chinese food topped pizzas and tiki themed drinks. We had Crab Rangoon and General Tso's Chicken pizza with Chinese cheese sticks. Huge beer selection with many local and craft brews.

This was my first time visiting Fong's. I had a specific plan in mind due to friends' recommendations; Crab Rangoon Pizza. It did not disappoint. It was unique and by the second slice I was a fan. Not sure I would crave it and drive 2.5hrs for it, but interesting and tasty nonetheless. They earned their 'Excellent' rating by me for their above and beyond service though.
