First time here and I have a strong love for all things pizza some of the best pizza and food I have ever eaten!!!!! The music and vibe is pretty on top of it!
I'm visiting from San Antonio, Texas and I loved this place! Wish we had one, too. Get the Crab Rangoon pizza. It's to die for!
Wish I could actually review the food, but didn’t receive any. We went in for a to go pizza and the host seated us at the bar and said bartender would be right with us to take our order. Sadly bartender was too busy talking it up with the guys next to us. Sat at the bar for 10 min and not even hello or eye contact. Left after that.
All I got to say is the food is freaking amazing, staff is extremely friendly and now I got buy myself a waving cat🤣🤪
Terrible service! They gave us the wrong pizza and then promised the original ToGo. Then they only packed our leftover breadsticks and we didn’t notice until we tried to eat the leftovers later. Incredibly slow, too.
Stopped in to Fong’s after a Wild hockey game. We are from out of town and spending the weekend in Des Moines. Other than the lack of parking the atmosphere at Fong’s was terrific. There was not one thing to not like about the place. It was busy but the staff was wonderful and very helpful. Next time we are in Des Moines we will be stopping again!
Tonight, my partner and I went to Fong's downtown after a concert. It was late and, as usual, it was busy. Through whatever unfortunate situation, the bartender (I believe her name was Kala) was the only one working up front. Fortunately for Fong's, she was unstoppable!! Mediocre pizza and Overzealous security guards who like to assault patrons out of boredom . Lack of management on sight to remedy situations that occur with dealing with the late night crowd that they obviously rely on for income . The city should bar them from serving food late night because they can’t handle the situations that arise.
A must for a Des Moines visit. It’s my favorite pizza in the world!
