Fonda San Miguel's is not about the number of customers they serve. It feels more like visiting a dear friend's home where they don't rush the drinks, appitizers, dinner, etc. Some of the things you notice is how much space you have between tables, how you can easily talk to the person you are dining with, the unbelievable scrumptious food, and the best service in Austin. This is not a Tex-Mex place, but authentic Mexican cusine. Mimi and I will be back.

I had the Vera Cruz fish dish, and have never been so sick in my life. I did not eat fish for a long time. This was a special evening, and I really felt like this was what it would feel like to die.
