Miguel's has been one of my favorites since the early 90's. I've had many wonderful dinners there unfortunately last night fell a little short. It was my husbands birthday and I had made reservations. They didn't have our reservations and didn't know why but did seat us away. No problem therebut as the dinner went on my husbands drink didn't come until his food did and my dish was completely wrong, We order dessert for the birthday boy. The staff was down to earth and helpful. The food was delicious. We ordered vegetarian and it still tasted good. They have a great wine selection as well!
Everything was exceptional as usual. We've been going there for 35 years and it's always been that way.
When all the world is tex-mex.....high end interior Mexican is a real treat.
Pleasant atmosphere. Best interior mexican Ive ever had in Austin. Them tortillas.... And the Mole.... And the skirt steak.... The refried beans.... I could go for days but them damn tortillas are the truth. Worth the money for sure. See you on Sunday for brunch
