I came for game night last night and it exceeded my expectations. I had a blast. I played Magic, beer pong, video games on giant screens, Settlers of Catan and new board games. All the other clientele I met were super friendly fun people just down to gave a good time. Can't wait to go back.
Well, to be clear, I work here. But how I started makes it okay. I answered a random Craigslist add for a "Bad Santa" for a pre-Christmas craft sale. I showed up in Jim Sweeney's Santa suit smelling of whiskey (planned). And then they hired me to work security. ...and the owners are really nice fellows. Come for game nights on Tues and Thurs.
Great big, huge place. Must be the very best place to have any type party or corporate event. Game night, looks better than Las Vegas ! Great food, good drinks. The people who run the Foundry are just great to work with, if you are thinking about doing an event there. I hope they begin a COUNTRY Dance night soon. I want to see Dale Watson, Asleep at the Wheel, and Jason Roberts Band play there
