We’ve been taking our son here since he was born. All of the doctors, MAs and staff are amazing. I’ve always been able to get a same day appointment when he’s been sick. Dr Hudson is his primary doctor and we love how genuine, caring and funny she is.
Avoid this place at all causes if you care for the well being of your child. On 10/27 my 3 YEAR OLD daughter’s father called the doctor’s office first thing in the morning for a same day sick visit. She had been throwing up for 24 hours and had a mild fever of 100.8. The front desk scheduled her to be seen at 10:50 a.m. At 10:25 a.m. the front desk calls me and says they need to reschedule because the provider she is going to see does not take Medicaid. We’ve had an overall good experience with Focus on Kids Pediatrics over the past 8 years. Dr. Frand is outstanding. He is thorough, kind, and always makes our kids (and us as parents) feel comfortable and cared for. Unfortunately, the front desk staff consistently lacks warmth and clear communication, which can make scheduling and check-ins more stressful than they should be. We stay because of the excellent care from Dr. Frand, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the office’s front-line interactions.
Amazing pediatricians here. I am so grateful to Dr. Frand and Dr. Hudson. They really take time to help explain things to us and are very good with babies. I highly recommend
There isn’t a single doctor at this practice that I wouldn’t trust with my children’s lives. They are incredibly thorough and make their best effort to see my kids in a timely manner, sometimes the same day. Their MA’s are all wonderful patient people as well. Dr. Murphy is particular is a true gift to pediatric medicine and I will always be in debt to her for helping my son during a vulnerable time in our lives.
