The best vet in Flower Mound!
Absolutely love Dr. Shaffer and his staff. We have been bringing our fur babies to him since I was a youngin in second grade. They have comforted us with the loss of two of our babies (Misti and Marcus) over the years and have kept our current babies (Chevy and Tundra) healthy and strong. I would travel miles upon miles just for Dr Shaffer to see my pups. Thank you for the amazing care!
Shout out to Flower Mound Veterinary Hospital for taking a look at our dog just now as they were about to close. They were super helpful in determining if our dog had a tick on him, which fortunately, he did not. Appreciate all their help!
I have taken my dogs here for several years. Dr Schaffer is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Nothing fancy just a darn good vet.
I have taken my dogs and cats to Dr. Shafer for close to 25 years. My last dog was with us 15 years. Dr. Schafer prolonged Zeus' life and we got to enjoy Zeus for awhile longer. My dad took his dog Smoky to Dr. Shafer. With Zeus and Smoky both, when it came the time for us to let them go, no one could have been more compassionate and caring then Dr. Shafer. Thank you Doc. :-)
Dr Shafer is a knowledgable, honest and pragmatic vet. My late father-in-law was a vet, so we have EXTREMELY HIGH standards. Many shops see you coming and give you the choice that makes them the most money...but Dr. Shafer is kind, caring, and understands how to explain what's best for your pet, regardless of the profit implications. Plus, his staff has empathy beyond anything I've ever seen for pets and the families who love them.
Love Dr. Shaffer...and our dogs love him! The love going to the vet.
Thank you Dr. Shaffer and Tammy for making a VERY difficult time in our lives ...almost pleasant. Putting our 17 year old beagle to sleep was so sad but you two showed such compassion! Thank God for you guys!
