I really loved my therapist, but when there was a new supervisor, they cut my treatment prematurely and without warning or support. For a place that is supposed to be considerate of mental health struggles, this kind of carelessness was shocking. I was a patient at the psychology clinic for 2yrs. I went into the clinic lost & unsure if I'd ever find the will to live again. I completed CBT-E, DBT, CPT, and even some OCD exposure treatment. My therapist there was the best therapist I've ever had, and I've been through tons of therapists. I can confidently say you are in good hands if you are at the FSU psychology clinic. This clinic and its graduate students are better than most of the PhD therapists I have seen. They have saved my life in countless ways, gone above and beyond what other therapists couldn't be bothered to do, they are smart, on top of things, caring and professional. They have taught me research based treatments that work. I cant say enough good things about this place.

I was put on a waiting list for nearly a year for individual therapy as a student, and I must say it was worth the wait. I have quite a bit of experience with therapist, but the graduate students here are fantastic and qualified to treat all types of issues. I saw several clinicians during my time here, and some were better than others, but finding a good therapeutic fit felt easy. It's also EXTREMELY affordable.
