Step up for Students is the single greatest thing that could have happen to my family. It is sad to know that there are still people that want to bring step up for student down. Why??? When my children were in public school I worried every day about their slow progress. Now in a private school, they are thriving , they are respected, and encouraged.

Business response:

Mrs. Abbasi, we understand and thank you for sharing your thoughts. We realize this is a sensitive subject and will be offering informative materials on our website very soon.

They have school choice for reason all this is doing is adding more schools to choose from, giving children a chance who might not have had an opportunity to have a different learning environment that might suit them better. Whether it be a school in a different district an online school or a faith-based school whatever is best for the child. No Child Left Behind by Any Means Necessary!

Allowing scholarships supports American values in that competition creates better schools for all.

It's really sad that someone would want to stop such a great program. This scholarship helps us parents who want more out of life for our children. This program gives us that opportunity to give our children a shot to a great education. Please consider this its sad that we have to pay for a better education but thanks to this scholarship we can afford it.

I'm so tired for this political organization...In my personal opinion the education program for elementary, middle, and high schools at the public schools are totally mediocre and lack of preparation for our kids to attend and get good opportunities to reach a career at the renamed universities and colleges. If you don't believe this just research the information from 100 students starting from kindergarten to graduate at college from the public schools vs the private schools. For this reason I support 101% the initiative of... read more

I am so Blessed to have Step Up for Students for my two daughters. If it wasn't for the generous donations of different companies and people to this organization, I would not be able to afford for my kids to go to a Christian based school. My kids feel loved at their school and they get the attention that they need. Don’t take Step Up for Students Away. We are not “one-size fits all” when it comes to education.
