Bravo to the Florida School Boards Association for standing up to the pressure from those with self-interests and protecting our public schools, supporting school choice, defending our state constitution and preserving the separation of church and state.
Step up for students helps so many kids achieve a higher standard of learning where they obviously wouldn't have the chance without the scholarship. It seems to me that Florida would want to promote this brighter future instead of taking it away. I don't get it. #dropthesuit PLEASE!!!
Our Citrus County School Board has a wonderful relationship with Inverness Christian Academy. Why would your leadership wish to hurt private schools? That is just wrong. You are hurting families, simply for the goal of keeping dollars in the public system. Disgusting...
You should be ashamed of yourselves for this lawsuit. Florida children need the opportunity to receive a good education. If you truly had the best interest of Florida's children in mind, you would support any program that offers struggling kids hope and a chance to succeed. Leave the scholarships alone!!!
