Terrible care and neglect resulting in grade 3 pressure sore - you come out worse off - avoid !!!!!
RecommendedLast night, my mom arrived from home via Rescue for elevated blood pressure of 204/104. Dr. Ruangsomboon MD and Nnenda RN, they attended her with much love and special care. All the staff is very friendly and professional. Thanks and God bless you!
I’ve lived in Fort Lauderdale 30 years and this medical center has had a bad reputation. Things certainly could have changed by now. Have never used it. Was always told to stay away from it. As I said one should not always go on others opinions. It just might work for you very well. IMHO as a long time resident of the community.
People say a lot of negative things about fmc. My cousin went there and it was a wonderful experience. We came across nice, kind, caring staff from the secretary to the respiratory lady, to the lab people, to the doctors. Our nurse Janna was kind, attentive and funny, She made us feel at ease with her and with the care we got and even went out of her way to check on my cousin and follow up with all of us visitors. it is not easy being ill and we are blessed to have had a caring nurse and staff. impossible to get referrals!
Although I talked at being transported by ambulance to FMI, the awesome doctors there saved my life! The only comlaint I had was until I was transferred to the surgical floor, which has private suites, I had to share a room with a view of unfortunate people who had mental challenges. One was a lady suffering from Alzheimer's and needed a constant attendant, another person who overdosed and another who woke up and didn't want to be hospitalized and signed herself out. Oh!
