Don't go to this place! Botched 2 surgeries then tried to get me to have yet another surgery for a condition that he didn't test for, nor did I have, after finding a reputable dr that actually tested for it!
I have had Dr Helgamo do surgery on my dominant hand twice in the past. He was successful in repairing nerve damage caused by a serious laceration. At the time he was only in Port Charlotte and I was willing to travel from Cape Coral; well worth the trip. He would still be my only choice for hand surgery.
Excellent caring facility. They resolved the problem with my thumb and the staff was professional and courteous.
I have been going to Dr. Helgamo for 10 years. He is a wonderful and highly skilled hand surgeon. The office staff is so very good to me. I would never go to another hand surgeon because Dr. Helgamo is the BEST !!
