From out of town, lunch with a client. The Pork Schnitzel, breaded and fried to perfection, and the gravy, best ever, as were the roasted potatoes. Out of this world good.
EDIT: my original review was 8 years ago. This used to be a destination restaurant/experience. No more. We had been going there for over 20 years. This is my 3rd time at the Florida Cracker Lunch on Limoge. All 3 visits we chosen by my family/friends - not my choice. My chicken & waffles were.floating in a watery lake with melted "butter". My tea was in a plastic cup that I wouldn't even buy for a cheap party- so flimsy. The silverware was something you would find in a cafeteria. Couldn’t be more of a contradiction to the Brooksville location. Took an executive decision from the owner to get French fries with my catfish, as this location only offers the “fish camp” which comes with eggs for $14.00 Add grits for 1.50! They don’t offer a catfish basket, which is arguably one of the most popular options at the Brooksville location. This place is great. As soon as you walk in you can feel as if your in a old time show restaurant. It is very acclectic and well operated. The employees and manager check on you often to accommodate to your needs and make sure your experience is special. Their food is also very tastful and delicious. The muffins they provide with their rotational flavors, including the fruity butter that comes with it is yummy. Eventually you will likely take some food home 😂. I highly recommend coming here to eat! 100/10
Our waitress was a gem, the food was excellent and the establishment is soulful. Long Live Lunch on Limoges. Also, the restaurant honors Princess Diana on the menu that hasn’t changed in decades. Bravo.
