Florida Cancer Specialists is not a good place for Cancer Care. The doctors, nurses, and staff have a cavalier attitude towards cancer patients. This organization is not even accredited by any Florida regulatory agency. My oncologist, one Dr. Idelfia M, MD, failed to detect cancer that had spread to my liver in less than 5 months. My husband is a cancer patient, he had his left lung removed. he still gets a lot of pain. the oncologist send him to a pain specialist. because appoints and treatment is business hours my husband gave the office an FMLA form, over a month ago. every time we call we are told the doctor did not sign it. or she's on vacation. many times they dont even call back. they would put you on hold and hope you hang up after 15 minutes when you dont they come back and state the nurse is busy she cannot speak. having cancer is stressful ... read more
