The office in North Port exists only as a revolving door for patients insurance. The care provided is not in the patients best interest. My mother received treatment regardless of lab results that indicated further concerns. Such as, the need for a blood transfusion, or increase in certain medications. In the last week of her life they actually sent her for a bone marrow biopsy! Which, besides being excruciatingly painful, introduced sepsis, and required a trip to the hospital.<br /> <br /> <br />

Only go here as the last resort because you will be left to rot in the waiting room for up to 2 hours to see the doctor for a couple of minutes. Do yourself a favor and go to *******. I did.

I was a patient here in the ******, ** office, and will never go back. The front desk staff was rude, even before I had the main issue. I was having chronic diarrhea and an electrolyte imbalance due to the immunotherapy I was receiving and I made numerous calls both to the office and supposedly to ************************ cell phone and no one ever called me back. Double check any bill you receive from them. I had 2 bills sent to and called and questioned both and was told their system made an error and no payment is due. This happened on 2 occasions a month apart. Wouldn't they correct system error or are they keeping double payments

I received radiation from Florida Cancer Specialists in Hudson, Florida. I signed an agreement with them to pay $429.00 up front for services and $154.17 monthly for 24 months. I paid each payment for 13 months per this agreement. I called to make the 14th payment on 02/28/2022 and was told my account was turned over to a third party for collection and they would not take my payment and there was nothing else they could do. Poor infection control practices. Today was the second time I visited the facility for my infusion. Both times I observed blood pressure equipment not being cleaned between patients. Both times I addressed this with staff and both times they had to go find the cleaning wipes. Today I was told "we will look to see what the SOP says". This is unacceptable. This is not how you stop the spread of disease. This needs to be addresses immediately by implementing infection control processes that address the cleaning of all equipment... read more

There are frequent scheduling mixups that lead to long waits very seldom have the right schedule. They bill you for blood test even though as per insurance benefits it shouldn't, they manipulate the billing so the patient ends paying more.

Have a family member I take to FCS for over a decade. There are frequent scheduling mixups that lead to long waits, such as wrong time of appointment, or deciding at the time of appointment that a doctor/nurse should have been scheduled that time so have to squeeze it in. However, they always got things resolved eventually, and the assigned nurse and doctor have both been good, do well explaining results, and coordinate well with the patient's other doctors. On 03-06-20, I took my son for an infusion. The place was a patient mill, crowded, no water in the five gallon water dispenser and when he went into the infusion area they could not get a vein so he had three holes in him, He took it in stride as we did until another nurse came over and said they didn't have the medicine there but at another office. Totally unprofessional place and we would never recommend it and will never go back. Want to be a patient that gets care and the proper attention then find another place, we sure... read more
