I called today - Monday, March 10th at 11:33 am. I was waiting to speak with someone for 1 hour and 41 minutes before the call was disconnected. The message stated that I need to call back during business hours - Monday through Friday. This phone call was during their business hours. This is one example of the problems with this department. Extremely frustrated with the board. I've been waiting for weeks to receive my provisional license just to be told that I needed additional documentation. After submitting the necessary documentation, it has taken me even more time to hear back about my license. I feel like I've been given the run around. It’s been two months now since I’ve submitted documentation for licensure. I’ve called at least once a week to ask for an update on when my license will be approved and I get the same response every time, followed by the woman hanging up without me letting to say anything else. The people who answer the phone are so rude and unprofessional. I’m sure they’re underpaid and understaffed in the office- the state of Florida needs to do better.
