Food was delicious but smallish portions, especially on Scallops. Could use more A/C too. My Chardonnay was so yummy.
It was Memorial Day and the heat and humidity was going down, so we chose to sit outside in their small but comfortable front patio area. The three course special gave us the opportunity to try several of their menu items. I had the fennel, grapefruit & red onion salad, the lobster gnocchi (to die for!) and the honey panna cotta. RecommendedEverything about our experience here was perfect - couldn’t find a single thing to complain about, from the service to the space to the food. The pappardelle was not to be missed, nor was the wine, and our server Marco was a pleasure who made the whole experience even better. Favorite date spot- especially on Wednesdays when the wine is half priced!
Bread was stale—always a bad sign at an Italian restaurant. The host was not at all welcoming, and the pasta was thick and chewy. The service was just ok, apart from the rude host. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or ever go to again. Could barely hear companion, as guests seated next to us were practically on our laps. Al Tiramisu, about a mile away, is an infinitely better choice.
