I have been seeing Dr. Florek for my chronic severe migraines for 12 years now. You need to look no further for a migraine specialist that will ask you questions that really matter, listen to everything you have to say with a very caring heart and make his plan of care truly one that he believes will help you. His exams are thorough and he actually takes his own notes. He stays up-to-date on all the newest medications and treatments and offers them to you if he thinks they will help. Dr. Florek is the absolute best! He always listens to my concerns, symptoms and questions and always works so hard to find the right solution for me. He continues to make sure he’s found the best solution for me, and I’m always so amazed by his knowledge and expertise. His bedside manner is wonderful and appointments are always pleasant. The office lights are always dimmed if you suffer from migraines or light sensitivity, and the entire office staff are just lovely.
Dr. Florek is a true gem. I've sent MANY patients to his office. He is the one doctor I've had since my diagnosis that will listen to me. He'll take what I say and apply it to my treatment. He's willing to try anything to help me. He has called me well after hours just to check on me after each of my many spinal taps. He genuinely cares. He is the doctor the hasn't given up on me. Dr. Florek is one of the good guys. He listens, he is informed and doesn't push the latest, greatest meds if one does not wish that route. He is the only doctor I have ever heard ask his staff if they would like a coffee; that speaks volumes. He is a mensch.
