This is a really wonderful self-care activity. It is super relaxing and has great health benefits, too.
The pictures don't do it justice. I was sceptical but 60 minutes alone without a phone or any distraction in a bath sounded perfect. It was. I had to let go a bit but then it was fun, stress relieving and finally relaxing as I drifted off to sleep. People travel across the world to float in the Dead Sea for this kind of experience. It's so nice that it's right here in Appleton.
It is a total experience of relaxation from the moment you walk in to the welcome area to hours after you left the spa! Staff are amazing and guide you in "tuning out" all those mental roller coasters in your mind... THEN comes the FLOAT...I am sure every experience is different for partaking in it for the first time, most once entered (like I did) thinking " ok I'm floating, hurry up, make me relax! Wonderful first experience! I was completely relaxed and outside of time! The staff is very helpful and kind! I recommend a session for anyone that can’t quiet their mind to relax.
Having followed Float Light on Facebook and hearing about its many benefits I was always intrigued to float. I tuned into a Facebook Live one evening to learn more and to my surprise won a free float. The universe was speaking to me and saying it is time for you to join this movement! I'm having a hard time finding the words. The best way I can put it in one word is transcend. I suffer from a extremely active mind some people would call it add/adhd. I cannot shut my brain down it is always thinking. but here at float light during my float I could turn it off for once it stopped and I had the most peaceful experience I've ever had so I highly recommend the whole experience. oh and not to mention you WILL feel amazing during and afterwards
My husband and I experienced our first float session this past weekend. We were both impressed with the facility - and the owners. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers experience the BEST that floating can deliver. The float cabins are fantastic. The relaxation space is wonderful. We were able to fully immerse ourselves (no pun intended) in the experience, and walked out feeling refreshed and at peace.
