A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. My first dining experience at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great! The hush puppy starter was my favorite! This is definitely a must for anyone who visits Charleston.
Me and my husband celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Charleston this weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better option. The food was wonderful and our service was perfect!! Our waiter, Ross, gave us the most amazing dining experience we've ever had! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Charleston!!

Came into Charleston on a whim today. One of my friends recommended this restaurant and I am so glad she did! My husband and I came right in and found a seat at the bar. Excellent bar staff! Very attentive. Our food was amazing! I had the flounder which was cooked perfectly and my husband had the shrimp and grits. We've had a lot of shrimp and grits and for this price, you won't find better in downtown Charleston with a water view! We will be back soon!
The food was excellent!!! Especially loved the fried flounder. Flakey and crispy and not greasy. Good location too! 👍🏼
My mom and I visited Charleston and this was our last stop before leaving. It was Thursday lunch hour so we had to sit outside which gave us a wonderful view of the harbor despite the heat. We ordered the fried flounder sandwich and the angus burger, split them down the middle and shared. Both were equally amazing and our waiter was great with keeping our waters filled. Definitely will be revisiting!
Our server, Blake was amazing! He is great with kids. Everyone was so friendly! The food was great and came fast! I will definitely be coming back!
