Put a pair of shoes on hold. Had my boyfriend pick them up and gave him cash to do so. The shoes were the wrong style, size and color. Went to return them & was told I could only get store credit be she'd of the cash (I generally never pay cash for anything so definitely a go figure moment) forced me to pick new shoes on the spot since I'm about to move out of the city and didn't wanna to be sitting on credit. Didn't need shoes this trip but went in for the free engraving of my Shamrock Shuffle medal. While waiting was shown some neat new shoes and given info about some future runs.
Absolutely the best place to get fit for running shoes and apparel in Chicago. Great locations all over the city, staffed by runners that share your passion for the sport and genuinely want to make sure every customer is delighted with their experience. Also a great place to find a running group no matter what your physical conditioning from run walker to elite.
The FF staff is always willing and able to provide the utmost in service and expertise. An excellent establishment for proper shoe fitting as well as a great selection of apparel and excessories.
Frustrated with a persistent injury, I stopped in to the Lincoln Park location to find a compression sleeve for my knee, which was becoming painful after long runs. After hearing the problem, the staff suggested that I go through the fit process to see if my shoe was causing the pain. So many thanks to Erika, who put me in the perfect shoe and even talked me into trying a pair of superfeet to counteract the pronation that was probably causing the pain.
