Super nice... good environment.... front desk lady was very polite with a pleasing personality .. waiter who served us was very patient and he really exactly what he was doing when it comes ordering our food. The food... everybody enjoyed their food as well as mine. I ordered steak and they cooked it so good like how I wanted to be done. The meat was a perfect size . Everyone in the group loved their food also. I would recommend all to experience also what we had. Great job Flames !!!
The cake was excellent!! The service however was not so great. We sat for quite a while before anyone came to take our order. Then our coffee was never refilled. I'm gonna give it a second chance on another day. I hope they can redeem themselves.
Waiter was was friendly and good comfort food. Good location for late night snack.
This has been my favorite San Jose happy hour place since my SJSU grad school years! Great food and ambiance! Richard is the best!
Service - not great. Food - mediocre. Billing - larcenous. We ordered two lunch specials (prawn salad with soup, and fish & chips) and - unfortunately we only noticed later - each dish was billed at about $3 over menu price (before tax). That fits the definition of theft, in normal English. Plus we never got the soup, one of the two coffies was delivered wrong... all in all we were just happy to leave, so never noticed we'd been mugged. Flames in San Jose can only be described as a criminal enterprise. Avoid at all costs!
