I recently had a problem with my AC (short cycling). Brandon came out to have a look. Brandon seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He ran a number of tests and concluded that while my problem might be able to be fixed...a number of other tests would be required that would be at considerable expense, He recommended replacing the unit as the most cost effective option. Flame Furnance’s philosophy on resolving issues is to not call you back. Since Oct. 2016, I had them out three times for work that should have been covered under product warranty. I even showed them the registration of the furnace. I paid almost $2k in labor and parts. I believe the part costs should be covered under the warranty. Guess they did not! Shameful! I’ve been with them for many years ... not anymore.
This company charged me a service fee "just to come out". No problem. I understood it was a holiday and after hours. This was the only reason I did not call my regular furnace guy. FLAME took apart my furnace and told us we needed a new one. my husband told him I don't think so and told him to put everything back together and get out. We did not have heat for 2 days.
