We drove up from Branson this evening while we are on vacation after reading great reviews on TripAdvisor. We were blown away! The restaurant itself was awesome (great atmosphere), our waiter was amazing, and the food was pricey, but worth every penny! A+ for service, A+ for food, A+ for presentation, A+ for everything! Abby was an excellent waiter. The food in the bar was good, not great. My husband rated the calamari as "fair." There wasn't much to the veggie burger, but I liked it. It was portabella mushroom and swiss cheese, but not real hardy on either. The fries were really good, but they did not have any detectable habanero or hot flavor, at all. We weren't sure if maybe they were just plain fries. The worst part of the whole experience were the damn televisions. I try hard to avoid any bar with a t.v. and it's not easy, of course.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. Flame offers wonderful food, impeccably prepared to order, church competent staff with great focus on every detail. Great cheesecake but I wish we'd been offered the creme brûlée as well. Guess it will require a return trip!
