The service department has been TERRIBLE and now under new management I just get the run around, not a timely call back, and theyre SUPPOSED to be servicing my vehicle I PURCHASED from them and theyre saying I gotta pay for a RENTAL when this case has been going on for about 2yrs THE SERVICE department claims they DO NOT have a loaner ALL THE **** they keep making EXCUSES after EXCUSESNO OTHER BIG DEALERSHIP I never had these problems FIVE STAR NISS in FLORENCE, SC IS JUST TERRIBLE, as a customer I SHOULD NEVER have to pay f... read more

I arrived at Nissan Five Star at 8:15 am on 8/24/23 to have my key fob fixed since it wasn't beeping. The service advisor fixed it after waiting about 20 minutes.I inquired about the price for a tire alignment, waited another hour, and was told they need to order the Lugnuts, $230. I thought, wow, that's a lot, so she suggests that I apply for ****** to help break up the payment, which I do. After another hour, she comes back to tell me that the mechanic said that ALL the Lugnuts were stripped! And that my car cannot be driv... read more

Worst experience ever. Almost $5000 add ons and they would not negotiate. Our car died and we were a captive audience! We were the only people in the place and it took us most of the day to process. There were no rentals in a 20 mile radius, we were under duress. They said that they added coating that we paid for, but, they never washed the car, so how do you coat it. They would not refund. They want ** to go back to SC for them to put it on. When we got home and washed the grease off the car, it had a dent. Our salesman wen... read more

Five star Nissan has the worst service department a dealership can have. I took my wife's car there on 9/29/2022 To get it checked out. Today is 10/12/2022 and they still haven't done anything with the car. We have to keep calling them to see what's going on. Car has gold security warranty on it and the advisors act like they don't know what that is. All they told us was the engine mounts has to be replaced. Where do i begin... here is where I should have started before going to Five Star Nissan of Florence SC. First I get payments where I wanted them until I got with financing ADDING IN all the fees and not really explaining everything. A down payment I now learned that it was not necessary! ! I get the car on the road and its roaring. I take it back the next day because they were closing when I left. I went to go get my 2016 Chrysler 200 traded in. Asked about a 2011 Honda Accord and the salesperson didn't wanna put me in a car like that (was at 103,000 miles and checked later on it was at 130,000) Then when I told them what my bank approved me of. I talked to Ashley about a 2015 Honda Accord they just recently got. When I got there, I spoke with the lady upfront that I was supposed to see Ashley, then Deangelo said "Ashley gave him over to me" but Ashley didn't tell me about it. The Honda in question would not work for the approval that Davien had. The Kia was presented as an option and Davien accepted it. The customer decided 3 weeks later that it might not be the vehicle for him. We will be more than happy to work a trade on the vehicle.

This is an awful place! I took my car for a recall and a free inspection. I made the appointment a week in advance and told them my needs. After doing the service, I questioned them about the air bag light since it's a manufacture defect as I did when I called and made the appointment. They wanted to charge me extra after doing the inspection. The inspection was bogus. It said I had 5 tread left on my new tires and my new brakes were worn. Nobody ever consulted me as to why my car is howling. I am terribly disappointed as I ... read more

Terrible customer service. finance department is misleading and did not explain the hidden charges . And the next day asked to correct problem. They said bring truck back if you not happy but we're not going to fix the problem. If it wasn't for COVID and the shortage of trucks . That's what I would have done. Never doing business with them again.
