Took excellent care of my fur baby and you can tell they love and advocate for animals! Explained charges prior to doing anything and made my fur baby feel better quickly!

Unfortunately had to put my best friend down, but these people were super about it and gave us all the time we needed with our family member to say good bye. RIP Otie 10/15/2019 Love you pal....

How could they improve? For starters, they could actually care about animals. But they are more concerned about cornering the market since they are the only vet available. I get that this is a business, but their priorities are obvious. Came in with a life or death situation and they couldn't even look at him. Had to euthanize him because of this. Also had to push the subject, because even though he was obviously heavily suffering, the money was more important. And exorbitant for such a small animal. I will never bring anoth... read more

I have nothing but good to say about Five Rivers. As a volunteer for a dog rescue we get a lot of sick dogs and puppies in and many times after hours for our vet. Five Rivers has been a life saver for us ... and has saved the lives of many of our rescue dogs and puppies.

I contacted the clinic last evening on a Saturday night. They explained to me the price of an exam and then came in after the exam to give me a estimate of charges. I was very happy they were able to do bloodwork and give me a result within 30 minutes. My 11 year old baby was extremely sick with pancreatitis which is painful and can be dangerous. My vet was out of town so I was lucky to have this option and i am happy to report my baby is feeling better. They told me to follow up with my vet on Monday and provided me with pa... read more

Five Rivers Pet Emergency Clinic is awful. We brought my mother in law's sick cat in and that evening they called to say he didn't make it. They were very insensitive when we came to pick him up. They were making jokes and trying to nickel and dime us for everything. Instead of trying to comfort us for the loss of our family's cat, they kept trying to get more money out of us for an autopsy, for cremation and for burial. I can't help but think that they didn't do all they could to help our cat. All they care about is money.

Early on a Sunday morning, our 4 mo old kitten was listless and not bouncing off the walls as usual. Called the clinic and had her there in less than an hour. The staff was very welcoming and sensitive to our worried state of mind. In less than two hours, her fever was on the way down and meds were dispensed for a viral infection. She was already feeling more like herself by the time we got home. Thank you!

I took my dog who was having trouble breathing to 5 Rivers Emergency, the girl went to the back I think to tell the vet, she cameback up front and gave me the paperwork, I started to fill out the paperwork, she again went to the vet only this time I was told to stop and told they couldn’t see her or even stabilize her. Apparently while filling out the paperwork the only vet that works there started surgery and I was told to go to Knoxville. Funny no other people were there and no cars. I had no choice but to head to knoxvill... read more
