I have been there with different animals and always spend hundreds of dollars for nothing and then end up going to our vet the next day! They sent our bloodhound home to die from bloat, they said he was fine but he wasn't. Don't waste your money going there, call on call vet or go to Knoxville.
I had to take my little girl Patty (1/2 Shitzu, 1/2 Cocker Spaniel) to have her looked at for a curious limp. Dr. Phipps was on staff. She escorted us right to a room so I could fill out the paperwork more comfortably. Afterwards, she and the staff were very thorough in checking out Patty and explaining her options. Turned out to only have inflamed tendons. Meds and rest to be followed up at regular vet later. Very happy with experience.
I have used Five Rivers multiple times, I have never had anything but excellent service, the staff went above and beyond to save my pomeranian Rudie after she ate 2 lbs of extra dark imported chocolate. I am forever grateful for their services!
It was the worst experience ever for me n my dog.the assistant on call was very uncaring and didnt care tht my dog had a throat condition and continued choking her even when I said let her go. Will never be back there.
Thanks guys for taking care of my April she finally ate some a while ago!! The staff here is really very nice one of the nicest I have seen in awhile!!! Thanks again!
