mmmmm fitzs – great service for one. great atmosphere. The food is fantastic and there are a lot of varities. Its a great place for any one really,including family.plus,you get to watch the bottling process while you eat. right in the loop and across from vintage vinyl,so you can enjoy it all.
Famous for rootbeer This has always been regarded as a St. Louis staple, when it comes to establishments. Personally, all I liked was the Fitz's rootbear. They are supposed to be famous for their hamburgers. I wasn't impressed, and am not a fan.
Pretty good food This place is pretty good. It's very loud there if you like that sort of thing. Service was ok. The food was good. The best thing is that they make their own rootbeer right there in the restaurant. The kids love to watch it being made. It tastes' great too. They make all kinds of flavors of soda.

WORLD CLASS Root Beer – Go for the bottomless Root Beer mug - not the food. The food is OK - the Root Beer is AMAZING!!
Fun and unique place to visit – I never hung out in the Loop until I moved closer to the area, but it is definitely an interesting place to hang out in. I recommend going to Fitz's in the early evening, and then afterwards, walk around in the Loop and visit some of the unique stores. If nothing else, it is fun to just people watch. I have been to Fitz's several times, and it is a nice change of pace. Only once was I able to watch them bottle Fitz's while I ate, and it was really neat!
