This place is a joke. Notice how 90% of the reviews are 1 star, and the rest are 5 stars. That is because this trash gym run by complete a-holes has their employees post favorable reviews on the clock.
dont join this gym. if you have the money go elsewhere. lots of people who dont take working out seriously: young kids, people running in jeans, no one wipes down the machines, etc. not to mention it is harder to get out of a membership than they lead onto. cant cancel in gym. hard to update credit card info also. have to do everything through corporate in houston and they are unorganized. the gym and staff are as cheap as the price.
RATED F ON BBB - THIS IS FOR A REASON!!! This gym is a rip off! There are hidden fees and when you want to cancel you drive to the gym and then they tell you to call corporate, so you call corporate and they tell you to send certified snail mail to cancel. They send you in circles, which prolongs your membership!!! They are trying to charge me for maintenance fees 3 days before my membership ends - why?! I'm not even using the gym and if I'd been able to cancel IN the actual gym, my membership wouldn't even be active on July... read more
CHECK OUT THE 110 COMPLAINTS WITH BBB BEFORE YOU JOIN! The people complaining on here are not lying. My husband and I were told we could cancel at anytime, but when you go in to cancel they make you send a certified letter to their corporate office. We were told by 3 different people that we would not be charged again since we paid for the last month at sign up. This gym is SHADY. They lure you in saying no contract, cancel anytime! Then they charge you for your first and last month's rent upfront, but STILL charge you again PLUS FEES after you cancel. Makes no sense! They told us we would NOT be charged for July, but go figure we got charged anyway! Why pay the last month's rent upfront if they are going to charge you AGAIN in the end? You Got to join! This place is amazing. I must admit at first I was regreting leaving 24hr fitness, but when Fitness Connection went 24/7 everything changed! It worked with my crazy schedule, and helped me pass some other barriors. The trainers are on another level, in other words: They give you tips, advise, and motivate you for free! They have Zumba/Hip Hop/Yoga/pump up/turbo classes; Basketball court; Sonna (oh yea ladies, we have one to our own!), training room, and much more. This place seems cheap...and it is. They just give u the equipment & NO HELP. The training u can get a contract for is worthless. They send u an email once a week to tell u what to do. They will tell u their job is not to guide u through workouts! The cheapest training is $140a mo. And they chg u to even get out pf it. I had a heart attack &defibulator NEVER used their training. And still they won't release me! They want me to pay a month in advance &out still chg me $200 to get out of it. Save your money &I go elsewhere!

Fitness Connection is the best Gym I’ve EVER had a membership at and the price is great!! I don’t know WHAT you are talking about because the daycare IS open and has been for the last 30 days! In fact my neighbor works at the daycare a most mornings when I go up to work out she leaves at the same time I do… I don’t under how someone could go OD on $10.75 monthly payment.
