This is a tried and true, amazing neighborhood dive that somehow found itself famous on TikTok and attracted people who expected a Michelin experience! If you come here, expect the dive bar vibe, not the fancy cocktail bar vibe. The food is food, the drinks are drinks, nothing is special—no frills. The bartenders and kitchen staff, though, are good people who truly care about their regulars! Glad to have this place and these people in my neighborhood.
HUGE shoutout to Daniel for being such a great bartender. He was so personable and friendly. Such a genuine person I want to be best friends with him. We love him!!!!!
Fishtown Tavern Sucks
A group of us celebrating a 30th birthday party migrated from Garage to Fishtown Tavern after some of the bars lost power on 2/16. We were greeted with hostility from the woman bartender with brown hair. Our crowd must’ve overwhelmed her because we got into an unwarranted verbal confrontation. She then proceeded to ignore my drink requests and eventually denied service to me and some other members of the group.
