Attended the High Tea and was very disappointed. As an avid tea drinker I was expecting a lot more for $60 per person. The tea was not properly seeped. It just tasted like hot water. The High Tea consisted of two tea sandwiches, three store bought deserts, and two small store bought scones. That's It!! I cant believe they charged $60 for that. I will not be returning. First & Oak if you're going to continue to have what you call a High Tea please bring in someone that knows what they are doing.

Very good!. My wife had the three course, oysters, foie gras, and sea bass, I had the five course, duck wings, foie gras, mushroom risotto, short ribs and chocolate mousse. All were great, but the mushroom risotto and short ribs were intense with demi glaze. Almost over powering.
When in Solvang eat here.

Amazingly wonderful small plates. Imaginative plending of different ingredients makes Chef Steven one of the most creative people there is in any kitchen and First and Oak a real gem.
