I initially contacted Dr. Merzon via email after hours, requesting an appointment for a diagnostic exam on the following day (Saturday). I received a phone call from him shortly thereafter confirming an appointment for the next day. I was seen and I can’t say enough about the level of professionalism displayed by he and his staff. In addition, they are genuinely kind and caring. A five star experience! FYI, I was NOT a patient of his prior to this appointment-I will be now.

This was my first appointment. I felt welcome. Dr. Merzon answered all of my questions without conveying any sense of time pressure. I was really impressed by the newest technology and by the exceptional attention to cleanliness.

Dr. Merzon and his staff are terrific. They are kind, efficient, courteous and professional. All procedures are carefully explained ahead of time. After many years in Cambridge, I finally found a dentist I could trust.

I was very impressed with the high tech administrative record keeping at first impressions. Dr. Merzon also was very conscientious about making sure that my insurance would cover the treatment because FI was out of network. He took the time afterwards to show me how to brush my teeth properly. He also explained future issues that I might have with one crown.

Everyone I've dealt with at FI has been professional and personable. My hygienist was gentle and efficient (and funny), and Dr Merzon went beyond the call of duty in keeping on eye on my general health. Highly recommended.

Dr. Merzon is the second dentist I've ever had. Prior to moving to the Somerville area, I had been seeing the same dentist for over 15 years and had a very high bar set as to the standard of service I was expecting. First Impression Dental exceeded my expectations. Dr. Merzon is a wonderful dentist and easy to converse with. His assistant is also very talented and friendly. The office space is nice and I look forward to returning for future cleanings.
