I have been a loyal customer since 2013. Never in my entire time have I over drafted my account. I made a simple mistake and make my house note again my other checking account instead. I was charged two fees of $34 each. I called and requested a courtesy credit of the fees. I explained to the customer service that I have the money in my other checking account. I inquired through the online banking portal and asked for an explanation of the two fees. I was told that another payment was trying to come through that the bank rej... read more

My husband gave me a personal check in the amount of $25,000.00 on June 4, 2018. I deposited the check into my account at First National/First Convenience bank. I was told that in 4 days, I would have access to $4,800.00 and that I would have full access on June 14. The money was taken from my husbands account on the 5th . I called the bank headquarters to see why nothing was posted in my account. I was told that a hold was placed on the check for insufficient funds. But, according to Chase bank First National already had th... read more

I responded to an email promising $250 credit for refinancing an auto loan. I was approved all the way up until they wanted the mileage of my vehicle. At that point I was denied because my vehicle has over 100,000 miles. I asked if they had already run my credit and dinged my account and was told that they had. It is apparently not their policy to find out what you want a loan for before making sure your credit is good enough for their terms. I asked the woman on the phone why they didn't find out what the auto being refinan... read more

I am so frustrated with this bank. My account is always locking me out. When I KNOW my password. Thus, I can't use my debit card. Nothing. For two weeks, I haven't been able to place my weekly grocery shopping curbside pickup because of this bank not having after hours tech support. Try shopping with a toddler! This isn't the only time random lock-outs occur. This is the icing on the cake!! I get new debit cards in the mail. Why?? I'm not even sure. I can't even activate them because I need to speak to customer service. But,... read more

How does this Bank get a BBB rating of A+. It took this bank almost a month to open up a Business Account. I went all the way to Port Arthur, Texas to open Business Account because my sister leaves there and she is my partner. They took all our information including copies of SS and ID and then told me that we cannot process your request for business account because we are too busy so I told them I wont be coming back because I am going back to Houston. The next day my sister goes to that bank they said the person who proces... read more

We moved to Texas in January and opened an account at the 643 North Harvey Mitchell Parkway Bryan TX branch. We have maintained more than enough money in the account, we were not looking for special treatment but i was hoping for maybe average customer service. We tried to order new checks a few weeks ago, the bank told us that they were ordered, After a couple weeks my wife called in to speak with the bank to ask why we had not received any checks yet. She was told by the teller that the order was never placed. She asked t... read more
