Friday, I visited two other BIG name dealerships in Rochester, NH. 1st City was the ONLY dealership who had a salesman actually WALK up to me in the lot! (I guess the others are not interested in actually selling their inventory 🤷) The staff is very friendly, patient and professional. Most importantly, they did NOT push a sale! Buyer beware! I've never dealt with such an unreasonable, greedy, patently immoral dealership. They buy used cars at auction that have been involved in accidents and have safety issues. They make their best attempt to hide and dismiss problems and list their "pretty" vehicles for top dollar. The description of vehicle options are also falsely described as well. They are not accredited by the BBB, don’t find out the hard way like I did why they aren’t accredited! Failing cars, with zero support after you buy, don’t expect a call back, or a email back. Don’t expect help resolving an issue or to have a car from them for even 9 months without possible engine failure or other complications. Second car I’ve had from them with the same result. Should have learned my lesson the first time.
I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from here. Both vehicles had motor issues. Brought the truck back and bought a jeep, They towed my jeep to a shop and told me it needed a water pumped. Had Key CDJR ( A licensed Jeep dealer) look at it and they told me the heads were smoked and that it needed a new motor. While I was there the service rep told me this is a common issue with First city. Had another garage look at it and they confirmed the motors smoked. HORRIBLE company knowingly selling junk cars. DO NOT RECOMMEND WHATSOEVER!!
