Welcome to David & Steve's Fireside Tavern. David Haines and Steve Kirkessner, along with our spouses Sandy and Stephanie, would like to welcome you to our newest venture. We have been a part of Lancaster and the restaurant business for the past 30 years. Love this restaurant. The bartenders are amazing. W visit every year from South Carolina and look forward to seeing Lisa every time. Food service and everything is wonderful. Can't wait until next year
The food was fabulous. The crab cakes can not be beaten by any other restaurants. The service was great also. Very friendly and curtious. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant
I think its wonderful from the time we walked through the door to the time we ordered and the food was excellent. The place was packed so we relaxed good food good conversation and meant a lot of nice people...and that about sums it up...�
Staying at the Clarion next door and just wanted take out..Awesome! Prime rib sandwich was perfect seasoned and huge! Tomato soup the best I ever had. My husband got surf and turf burger crab cake was very good and that says alot since We are from Maryland (crab capitol of the world) will definitely be returning
Our server was very attentive, refilled our drinks and we didn't have to request refills, like so many other places we've dined, and she checked on us throughout our meal. The highlight of my meal was the tomato bisque soup (I don't even eat tomatoes), but the soup was simply amazing. The atmosphere is very charming, and because we were seated near a window, we were afforded a spectacular view of the countryside. Overall, it was a positive dining experience.
This was my first time there with my friend. This place was recommended by someone else we met in another restaurant. My friend had the Cajun Catfish over sausage dirty rice, which she enjoyed very much. I had the Blacken Prime Rib Sandwich, with Chips and Cole Slaw, without the roll. It was fantastic. The prime rib just melted in your mouth it was so tender. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be back again.
Emmy the waitress was amazing .. our first time there and we we're great it by a very nice man ...food was so good stuff shrimp was great ... salad was very fresh..I recommend to all
We were in town for a conference and the Fireside was highly recommended from the staff at the DoubleTree Hotel my friends and I were highly satisfied with our dinner we got the filet mignon which was the best that we had ever had we all agreed. The waitress was very pleasant and did a great job taking care of us.
Disappointed with our food last night. Went with family and friends to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. No one could eat the green beans as they were so hard you couldn't even stick your fork in them, we did tell our server. They had no horseradish for the prime rib special. I ordered filet mignon that was to come with a demi glaze, instead it came with brown gravy. That was a real disappointment. Food just wasn't up to par last night
