We have been a part of Lancaster and the restaurant business for the past 30 years. Wonderful evening, delicious swordfish dinner..everything we ate was fresh, cooked right, and tastes like home cooking! The service was excellent and the environment, warm and inviting! A hidden gem locals frequent.
We came here after our wedding a year ago, came back today for our one year anniversary and was very disappointed about the service. We barley got any attention from the server as she buzzed by the other two tables(we were seated in the corner with a dead light) never asked how our meal was, never refilled our drinks, and didn't bring a side of ranch like we asked. My family and I were celebrating my daughter 'a college graduation and my daughter in laws 30th Birthday . There were ten of us , the service was excellent and all the food was delicious. Which is a pretty hard job to please ten people at one time . But fireside tavern did it . I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!
This was our second time at the Fireside Tavern and we thought it was luck he first time we had amazing food, service and atmosphere all in one restaurant, nope! (And this RARELY happens) Our second time here and we brought he kids back and had the same: amazing food (my husband had the most delicious, perfectly cooked filet, I had the apricot salmon and it was wonderful and my son had the Shepard's pie which he said was to die for!) amazing service and great atmosphere. Very nice place. Nicely decorated for Christmas. I had the Southwest Steak Salad. Plenty of steak, well cooked (medium, the way I requested it). The others in my party had burgers and they were good as well.
Excellent prime rib! Server was OUTSTANDING! Coffee & dessert also delicious!
I have been past their many time. I live 45 minutes away. I went with 3 of my co-workers we had a blast. Food was great, waitress was good, the restaurant atmosphere was nice. I will visit again. Do you have a deck?
