Despite of the "not so good" comments I decided to give it a chance because nowadays people want to be treated like royalty and expect a Hilton presidential suite for $100 dlls. Staff was friendly, easy and quick check in. Room was very relatively small, but super cozy for 2 people. It was very clean, it looks like they updated linens recently. Last minute we decided to do a 2 day mini vacation to Big Bear.....someplace I've never been. Fireside was VERY affordable so our expectations were a little low, but it was within walking distance to a bunch of places which we liked. We walked into our room (#8) and it was AMAZING!!!! We booked this on short notice. Busy weekend in Big Bear! The room was wonderful! The fireplaces and spa tub were very cozy. Friendly staff. Very accommodating.
