The Firehouse Brewing Company has been crafting beer in South Dakota for 25 years - making us the oldest operating brewery in the state. Our server was very nice and tried real hard and the beer was pretty good...but took a long time to get anything we ordered and they came back twice to tell us they were out of what we ordered so we picked something else each time. Then when we got our food finally, some of it was lukewarm...some cold already and we got food we had not ordered and only one order was correct...we later saw stuff we had ordered but been told they were out of being delivered to people who arrived and ordered after we did. Lost our name on wait list - Stood outside over 45 minutes. When we finally get seated, gave our drink order, the server came back 10 minutes later and said "They lost your drink order" - Not impressed
Food was not hot and was just ok. As a old fireman, Chief, enjoyed the firehouse stuff. Told hostess that I was a old smoke eater and it was like over her head. Got to table I said Bet you don't know what a fire eater is, she said yea a left. like so what. Had to eat there to say I did. MANY signs along I-90 with old fire trucks with the signs. Thought very cool. BIG disappointment.
Being Texans the Mexican food was terrible and they don't know what real gumbo is.
Waitress was amazing, haven't seen that kind of customer service in a long time places. Food was awesome! Def recommend this place!
Great beer, good food, friendly staff, always can count on Firehouse Brewing Company for a great meal.
The beer bread is great, love the soups also! The different beers that are brewd there are not bad either, and if I get tired of beer , I can go next door to sip on some wine.....when I have company in town or friends over, we love going to both wine tasting and dinner.
Beer was great kudos to the brew master. Food was average. Server was excellent but had no knowledge of the beer on tap. Had to ask bar tender and he didn't know either. My advise is to give your employees knowledge of your product. It was like watching someone try to play baseball with out a bat.
A stop we make every time we're in town. Buffalo Blue Burger is amazing!
